Thomas McMillen, who served three consecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives representing the 4th Congressional District of Maryland. Through Tom McMillen’s experience while serving on the Banking and Finance Committee in the US House of Representatives, he recognized the opportunity to provide lending institutions the integrated products and services necessary to streamline the real estate industry. Consequently, the Company’s vision is to create a first class, end to end, integrated solution to drive revolutionary change in the way real estate services are delivered today; improving the experience for consumers, lending institutions, and government entities. The Company, as well as Yorkville Advisors, our financial partner, is committed to building this solution by leveraging both organic growth of existing assets, as well as strategic acquisitions.

As of October 2011, the Company has sold its assets as related to the Homeland Security industry to focus on this solitary vision, and have acquired assets to establish the foundation of these services.

Homeland Security Capital Corporation has specific and focused expertise in realizing synergies between existing companies and applying targeted resources at opportune periods to drive transformational growth. Current market trends originating from record low interest rates, government sponsored home mortgage relief programs and regulatory shifts in the foreclosure process are driving record volume of mortgage refinance clients and inventory of REO properties to market. The servicing of this volume is fragmented and overwhelmed, impacting service levels not only to large lending institutions, but to consumers as well. The leadership of the Company leverages their contacts and experience in the real estate services industry to drive the aforementioned growth through integrating and cross selling between multiple entities. In the near term, we are expanding our existing subsidiaries and acquiring assets to capitalize on this opportunity, while capturing market share to establish a leading position to drive long term growth and transformation within the industry.
