SOLUTIONS

Access control is often the key to systems integration. Today's computer-based security systems allow product interfacing of disciplines such as card access, photo identification, CCTV, visitor management and intrusion detection. With its resident database and decision-making ability, the access control system is a logical system manager for automating processes and consolidating reporting.

Intrusion detection such as passive infrared detectors, door contacts and glass break detectors may be integrated with alarm systems, CCTV, access control and intercom systems. Any of the integrations will allow for prompt detection and response to unauthorized entry.

Perimeter protection and detection remains the first line of defense for many entities. Radio Frequency Intruder Detection is a discrete means of protecting areas of open ground. Therefore, when an intruder walks unknowingly into a field, when integrated with a surveillance system, an alarm is activated and an operator can view the suspected intrusion.

Asset tracking can be used to identify and track laptops, office machines, computer systems, tools, telephones, shop equipment, employees and visitors in office buildings, hospitals, retail stores, warehouses, industrial facilities, mines and military installations.
